Symbio has launched the new Portability Check feature in the Connect Portal. This feature is the first step in centralising porting in the Connect Portal, wit the goal of simplifying port requests.
This enhanced tool builds upon the functionality of the LNP Qualification tool, allowing you to input numbers manually or via bulk CSV upload. Symbio then checks these numbers against the Portal Local Number Registry (PLNR) and provides information on the current carrier, donor carriers, and the portability status of each number. This will help customers identify multi-carrier ports, which can then be submitted separately in Sonar.
The Porting Dashboard has also been added as part of this feature release. The dashboard displays all current and historical portability checks.
